Research & Exploration

Loads of Post-Its - the yellow ones are ideas, we took the best ones and built up the ideas with more post-its..

Elevator Pitch "A game for competitive and smart commuters that allows them to interact with their journeys by competing against their previous times."

We each took some time to create a user scenario based on our own experiences

Individual User Scenarios (5 different, unique scenarios)

The Competitive Commuter

This is an app which allows you to compete against yourself on your daily commute! Beat your score!

"A game for competitive and smart commuters that allows interaction with journeys and previous times."

Marketing blurb:

Log a time and then beat it. Shave time off your commute. Pick and change transport modes enroute, Geo Tag and tip along the way, see your stats in a leader board and compete either with your friends or complete strangers. Don't want anyone to know how fast you go - stay offline!

The User Journey

The first time you use the app you'll see this screen, press the button to start recording your journey:

During the journey you will see this tracking screen (note you can press a checkpoint button to append the journey)

Finally when you reach your destination and press 'Finish' you'll get a 1st time screen:

When you press 'Checkpoint' you can add details to your current journey:

The second journey will be default compare the 1st journey - this can be changed.

During the journey you will be able to see how you were doing before as the app measures where you en-route.
